Operation Lifting Spirits – a Magical 2nd to Remember!
We need your Support to Lift the Spirits of the over 1,000 Families who Lost their Homes in the Boulder Fire on New Year’s Day.
Calling all America’s Santas to help give the 1,000 families who lost their homes in the Boulder fire a “Magical 2nd Christmas – to Remember”!
The Background:
Less than a week after Christmas, over 1,000 families lost their homes, and sadly, they also lost all the Christmas and holiday gifts, ornaments and decorations which are now a pile of ash.
How Santas can Help:
We urgently need Santas across America to call their local television stations and newspapers to volunteer to do an on-camera appearance or a Zoom call to ask families to immediately send Christmas ornaments and Christmas stockings to Flatirons Community Church in Lafayette, the largest church in Colorado, which will distribute the donations to the families.
Flatirons Church and other local churches and community leaders are organizing an event on Wednesday, February 23rd to give the families a “Magical 2nd Christmas – to Remember” including distributing the ornaments, Christmas stockings, and also toys that are being supplied by the Salvation Army, a partner in this effort.
Santas, please share with us via email the local TV stations/media outlets you were able to secure so we can reach out and thank them for their participation and support with a special “Santa’s Helper Certificate”.
Our goal is to collect at least 200,000 ornaments in 30 days … with your help, we can make this happen!
